Something Special

Treat yourself to a new hairstyle.  Nothing permanent here, so just have fun experimenting to find the right update for you.

Easy, Classy Hair

Half Curl-Half Straight
This stylish look gives texture and volume not to mention a great frame to your face. Style hair as usual. Spray all over with hairspray. Heat up curling iron. You can use two different size barrels for more dramatic effect. Then piece by piece curl hair in sparatic sections. You can leave your bang straight and loosely curl.

Classic Ponytail
It's the easiest way to give long hair a quick pulled together look of elegance. Slick hair back and secure with ponytail, wrap extra hair around band so it does not show and pin in place. Add a shine gloss. Spray

The Loose Updo
Both modern and sophisticated, apply moose to wet hair and blow dry. Curl randomly, tie or braid longer sections. Pull back in loose pony tail and wrap extra hair at base. The key to this look is a loose thrown together look that you just threw together with ease. If the ponytail still is too tight of a look for you, try pinning it back one small section at a time till you get the desired effect.

Romantic Curls
The loose curls create a beautiful romantic effect that sets the mood to get into that perfect holiday outfit. You can also pin up one side or both and leave the back down. You can add a small headband close to the hairline for some added glamour.

Soft Loose Braids - for curly hair
This is ideal for curly or wavy hair. Style hair as usual than braid three random strands on one side and two on the other. Pull them back loosely or off to the side is a pretty look. Secure them with pins and the rest of the hair is left to flow naturally. You can add a clip in this area (where all the braids come together) or you this is the ideal spot for flowers.

Do You Need a New Do?

Time for a hair makeover?

1. Do you have the same hair as your High School Senior Picture?

2. Do you wear a ponytail as your style for the day, more than 4 days a week?

3. Do you watch old movies from the 70's and your kids say, "look mom, she has the same hair that you do!"

4. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." "It worked in the 80's and everything comes back around." Is that how you feel about your hair?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, we're gonna go out on a limb and say you may need to update your hairstyle. Women tend to put taking care of themselves last on their list of things to do.
We often neglect our look or personal style because of a lack of time. Make time for yourself. Consider a new style, cut or color. Bring yourself back! You don't have to go it alone, find a stylist you feel comfortable with. Explain what kind of time you work with in the morning and what you expect of your style. It's ok to take a few pictures with you that represent the final look you're looking for; so you can say "I like these bangs, but love this length." Communication is key to getting a style that will work with your lifestyle.

Get a Little Lift

Keep a great style going strong, or take it to new heights with root lifter!  It's a multi-tasking product that adds volume, holds style in place, and creates lift. This is great to pump up the hair you went to work with for an after-work party.
One to try:  Big Sexy Hair Root Pump at Target
How to use it:  Just spritz some on roots (of dry hair) and hit it with a blowdryer for instant volume!  Spray with a little hairspray for added hold, and you're off.

Bonus Tip:  Keep some in your gym bag, for those times when you need to run some quick errands after your workout.
